The
Explorers Guild
Space Troupe

The Explorers Guild announces the formation of Troupe 499, aka the Space Troupe.

Troup 499 focuses the Guild’s mission - to find new frontiers and push the edges of discovery - on exploration of the cosmos, in order to understand life and foster long-term thinking. To build the Troupe’s capacity for increasingly complex operations, we seek members to undertake research and training assignments. These Star Quests will be posted here as they are developed so that you may explore on your own or sign up for group quests.

Star Quest 1:
The Night Sky

The first Star Quest challenges explorers to seek out a sky full of stars and experience the awe and beauty of the universe from Earth. This expedition can be completed solo or with a small group.

Star Quest 2:
Observations of Space and Time

The second Star Quest asks explorers to contemplate the scale of space and time as you walk along a set path. This expedition can be completed solo or with a small group.

Caravan Rally:
Rescue Opportunity

A great journey is ahead and the Explorers Guild needs adventurers to join them as they mount an improbable mission of rescuing the Opportunity rover from Mars.

Launching October 2021, the biggest question is: are you are ready to join them?

Star Quest 1: The Night Sky

This first quest tasks you to reconnect with (or rediscover) the night sky. The field guide and audio programs needed to complete it are available below. Both are necessary for the completion of the quest.

The field guide also has a documentation page, which is helpful for our guild's research. Should you take on this quest, be sure to complete these pages and return them for a token of the guild's appreciation.

Star Quest 2:
Observations of Space and Time

The second quest tasks you to make deep observations on the massive scale of space and time. The field guide and audio programs needed to complete it are available below. Both are necessary for the completion of the quest. Further, this quest was built with a specific location in mind, the Sibley Volcanic Preserve. Though you may complete this quest elsewhere, the map and scale has been built with that specific location in mind.

The field guide also has a documentation page, which is helpful for our guild's research. Should you take on this quest, be sure to complete these pages and return them for a token of the guild's appreciation.
